Reconstruction of concrete areas around NTK
Since May 2025, the concrete surfaces around the National Library of Technology have been reconstructed. The reason for this is the deteriorated technical condition, especially the subsidence of the panels and the need to repair the plinth of the facade. The aim of the works is to increase safety for library visitors, improve drainage and restore the aesthetic appearance of the building's surroundings.

Due to inclement weather conditions, the construction works are interrupted. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
What does this mean for visitors?
The reconstruction is carried out in stages to ensure safe access to the NTK building at all times. During the works, there may be short-term restrictions on movement around the library, increased noise pollution, dust and vibrations.
Library operations are maintained
All library services remain available and NTK opening hours remain unchanged. We do our best to ensure that construction activity has as little impact on your comfort as possible.
